تُعد مشكلة الفقر مُتعدد الأبعاد من المشكلات المركبة، وهي سبب العديد من المشاكل التي أضرت بالمجتمع السوداني على الخصوص، ويُعد الفقر من الظواهر الاجتماعية الخطيرة ذات الأبعاد المتعددة، والتي ترتبط ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالتنمية، وأن تقليل الفقر أو الحد منه هدفٌ يلتف حوله مجتمعات العالم النامي؛ من أجل رعاية الفقراء، وذوي الدخل المحدود عن طريق أجهزة الرعاية الاجتماعية، ومؤسسات الضمان الاجتماعية، وتنبع أهمية الدراسة في وضع استراتيجيات، وإيجاد حلول؛ للتخفيف منه عن طريق دور العمل الخيري في السودان، وتهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على الأدوار التي تقوم بها منظمات العمل الخيري؛ للتخفيف من حدة الفقر المتعدد الأبعاد بالسودان. وقد افترضت الدراسة أن العمل الخيري يسهم في تحقيق البُعد الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والتعليمي والصحي؛ لرفع مستوى المعيشة لأفراد المجتمع المحلي السوداني، والحد من الفقر المتعدد الأبعاد، ومن أهم ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من توصيات هو: نشر ثقافة العمل التطوعي بالطرق الإعلامية بما في ذلك وسائل الاتصال الحديثة، ومن ثم توظيف معطيات الثورة التكنولوجية في تقديم الخدمات التطوعية بمنظمات العمل الخيري بالسودان، والبحث عن مصادر أخرى للتمويل لتعزيز متغيرات الدراسة.

The problem of poverty is a multidimensional problem, and it is the cause of many problems that have affected Sudanese society in particular. Poverty is a dangerous social phenomenon with multiple dimensions, which is closely related to development. Reducing poverty or alleviating it is a goal pursued by developing societies around the world, in order to care for the poor and those with limited income through social welfare agencies and social security institutions. The importance of the study lies in developing strategies and finding solutions to mitigate poverty through the role of charitable work in Sudan. The study aims to identify the roles played by charitable organizations in alleviating the severity of multidimensional poverty in Sudan. The study assumes that charitable work contributes to achieving social, economic, educational, and health dimensions to improve the standard of living for individuals in the local Sudanese community and to reduce multidimensional poverty. One of the most important recommendations of the study is to promote the culture of volunteer work through media channels, including modern communication methods. Furthermore, utilizing the data of the technological revolution in providing voluntary services through charitable organizations in Sudan, and seeking other sources of funding to enhance the study variables
