Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D)-Cairo University, 2023. Summary: Aim: to evaluate the radiological and clinical outcome of patients who underwent TLIF with an interbody cage. Methods: a prospective study was conducted on 57 patients with different lumbar pathologies managed with TLIF procedure, preoperative and postoperative clinical assessment was done using ODI, VAS score for leg and back pain, also radiological assessment was done based on the following parameters: global LL, segmental lordosis, disc height, foraminal height, cage position and pelvic parameters. Results: the mean age of the participants was 41.54 years, 50.88% were males, the most common indication was Lytic spondylolisthesis, at last follow up 94.74% of patients were fused, there was a highly statistically significant difference between clinical outcome preoperative and postoperative with a p value <0.001, all radiological parameters were statistically significant except pelvic incidence, there was positive correlation between the cage position and the change in both segmental and global LL and 82.46% of patients had no complications. Conclusion: In this study, it was concluded that Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF), is a safe and effective technique in management of patients with different pathologies affecting lumbar spine and that it results in significant improvement in the clinical and radiological outcomes. Summary: الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية تقنية جراحية معروفة في علاج آلام أسفل الظهر المزمنة ومجموعة من اضطرابات العمود الفقري بما في ذلك الانزلاق الفقاري والأمراض التنكسية والكسور وأورام العمود الفقري. اكتسبت طريقة الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية عن طريق القنوات العصبية حاليًا المزيد من الشعبية على الطرق الاخري التقليدية التي تقتصر على مستويات محددة من الفقرات التي يمكن صهرها. كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو التحقق من الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية عن طريق القنوات العصبية كطريقة فعالة لالتئام الفقرات مع التركيز بشكل خاص على النتائج الإشعاعية للمرضى الذين خضعوا لهذه الجراحة من حيث الالتئام الإشعاعي ودرجة التوازن السهمي والحفاظ على ارتفاع الغضروف وعلاقتهم بالنتائج الإكلينيكية والنتائج الوظيفية. في الفترة من يناير2021 إلى يونيو 2022 ، أجريت تجربة اكلينيكية سريرية في مستشفى قصر العيني بكلية الطب جامعة القاهرة على مرضى يعانون من أمراض مختلفة بالفقرات القطنية والذين تمت الإشارة إليهم ووجد انهم يحتاجون الي جراحة صهر الفقرات القطنية بعد التقييم السريري والإشعاعي.

الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية تقنية جراحية معروفة في علاج آلام أسفل الظهر المزمنة ومجموعة من اضطرابات العمود الفقري بما في ذلك الانزلاق الفقاري والأمراض التنكسية والكسور وأورام العمود الفقري.
اكتسبت طريقة الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية عن طريق القنوات العصبية حاليًا المزيد من الشعبية على الطرق الاخري التقليدية التي تقتصر على مستويات محددة من الفقرات التي يمكن صهرها.
كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو التحقق من الصهر بين الفقرات القطنية عن طريق القنوات العصبية كطريقة فعالة لالتئام الفقرات مع التركيز بشكل خاص على النتائج الإشعاعية للمرضى الذين خضعوا لهذه الجراحة من حيث الالتئام الإشعاعي ودرجة التوازن السهمي والحفاظ على ارتفاع الغضروف وعلاقتهم بالنتائج الإكلينيكية والنتائج الوظيفية.
