تناول البحث دور الأطباء في الحياة السياسية والاجتماعية المصرية في النصف الأول من القرن العشرين، وهو مكون من مقدمة وتمهيد وأربعة فصول، وفي نهايته النتائج ثم قائمة المصادر والمراجع والملاحق، تناول التمهيد الصراع بين التقليد والحداثة، وضم الفصل الأول الطب والأطباء في مصر في ظلال الحداثة، وضم الفصل الثاني الشكل الاجتماعي والطبقي للأطباء، وأبرز روادهم وإسهاماتهم الخدمية، وفي الفصل الثالث تم تناول دور الأطباء في الحياة السياسية المصرية خلال فترة الدراسة، أما الفصل الرابع فاستعرض إسهامات الأطباء في التنوير الفني والأدبي والعلمي. وفي النتائج عرضت الباحثة أهم ما توصلت إليه في دراستها.

The research deals with the role of doctors in Egyptian political and social life in the first half of the twentieth century. It consists of an introduction, a preface, and four chapters. At the end are the results, then a list of sources, references, and appendices. The introduction deals with the conflict between tradition and modernity, and the first chapter includes medicine and doctors in Egypt in the shadows of modernity. The second chapter included the social and class form of doctors, and highlighted their pioneers and service contributions. In the third chapter, the role of doctors in Egyptian political life during the period of study was discussed. The fourth chapter reviewed doctors’ contributions to artistic, literary, and scientific enlightenment. In the results, the researcher presented the most important findings in her study.
