Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) -Cairo University, 2023. Summary: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the two methods of fabrication of tooth supported provisional dental prosthesis on the vertical marginal fit and internal adaptation. Therefore, in the present study optical impression (STL file) of the reference typodont model was performed for restoring a missing maxillary canine. 16tooth supported provisional FDPS were designed on the CAD software using the STL file of the control typodont model. Restorations were divided into two groups according to the method of fabrication; group A (8 milled PMMA restorations) and group B (8 3D printed restorations). Finally, the vertical marginal fit of the provisional dental prosthesis was assessed by a stereooptical microscope on the reference typodont model, three equidistant landmarks along the cervical circumferences for each surface of the specimen (buccal, lingual, mesial or distal). with the aid of an image analysis software, the vertical marginal gap was assessed for all these points. Regarding to the vertical marginal fit of the provisional FDPS, the results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the vertical marginal gap values of the two tested groups. While, for the internal fit of the provisional FDPS, the results presented that there was no statistically significant difference between the internal fit of the two tested groups .Summary: كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تقييم تأثير طريقتي تصنيع الأسنان الاصطناعية المؤقتة المدعومة على الملاءمة الهامشية الرأسية والتكيف الداخلي. لذلك ، في هذه الدراسة الانطباع البصري (ملف STL) لنموذج typodont المرجعي تم إجراؤه لاستعادة الفكية المفقودة. 16tooth المدعومة FDPS المؤقتة كانت مصمم على برنامج CAD باستخدام ملف STL لنموذج التحكم المطبعي. كانت الترميمات مقسمة إلى مجموعتين حسب طريقة التصنيع ؛ المجموعة أ (8 ترميمات PMMA مطحونة) والمجموعة B (8 ترميمات مطبوعة 3D). أخيرا ، تم تقييم الملاءمة الهامشية الرأسية للطرف الاصطناعي المؤقت للأسنان بواسطة جهاز بصري مجسم المجهر على نموذج typodont المرجعي ، ثلاثة معالم متساوية البعد على طول عنق الرحم محيط كل سطح من العينة (الشدق أو اللسان أو المتوسط أو البعيد). بمساعدة برنامج تحليل الصور ، تم تقييم الفجوة الهامشية الرأسية لكل هذه
