Summary: تسعى هذه الدراسة لتسليط الضوء على نشأة المسرح الكنسي في مصر وتطوره، عن طريق جمع وتوثيق النصوص وتحليلها وفق المنهج الفني الذي يعتمد على الوصف والتحليل والنقد للنصوص، بالإضافة إلى رصد سماته وموضوعاته وقضاياه. وتضمنت الدراسة مقدمة تحتوي على الإجراءات المنهجية التي اعتمدت عليها الدراسة. الفصل الأول ويتضمن نشأة المسرح الكنسي وتطوره من الناحية التاريخية. الفصل الثاني وتضمن قضايا المسرح الكنسي وموضوعاته ( دينية ـ اجتماعية ـ سياسية). الفصل الثالث ويتمثل في دراسة البناء الفني للمسرح الكنسي من حيث دراسة ( الشخصية ـ الحوار ـ الحبكة ـ الصراع . اللغة). الفصل الرابع ويتضمن توظيف الموروث ( الديني ـ السياسي ـ الشعبي ) في المسرح الكنسي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها وضع تعريف اصطلاحي محدد للمسرح الكنسي، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى نشأة المسرح الكنسي وتطوره وكيف تأثر بالمسرح الديني في أوروبا في العصور الوسطى، إلى جانب مساهمة المسرح الكنسي في تطوير المسرح المصري العام منذ ثلاثينيات القرن الماضي وإلى الآن. Summary: The Ecclesiastical Theater in Egypt is considered one of the most important contemporary creative phenomena, but it has not received sufficient study in the literary field. This study seeks to shed light on the emergence and development of the ecclesiastical theater in Egypt, by collecting and documenting texts and analyzing them according to the artistic approach that relies on description, analysis and criticism of texts. In addition to monitoring its features, topics and issues. The study included an introduction containing the methodological procedures on which the study was based. The first chapter includes the emergence and development of the Ecclesiastical Theater from a historical point of view. The second chapter included the issues of Ecclesiastical Theater and its subjects (religious, social, and political). The third chapter is represented in the study of the artistic construction of the Ecclesiastical Theater in terms of the study of (character, dialogue, plot, conflict, Language ). The fourth chapter includes the employment of the heritage (religious, political, and popular) in the Ecclesiastical Theater. The study reached a set of results, perhaps the most important of which is the development of a specific idiomatic definition of the Ecclesiastical Theater. The study also revealed the emergence and development of the Ecclesiastical Theater and how it was influenced by the religious theater in Europe in the Middle Ages, in addition to the contribution of the Ecclesiastical Theater to the development of the Egyptian public theater since the thirties of the last century until now.
