تهدف الدراسة إلى رصد استخدام النظام الإلكتروني المتكامل الدولي Librarian A داخل مكتبة الجهاز المركزي للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء من خلال التعرف على مكوناتة الفرعية والبروتوكولات والمعايير العامة والخاصة التى يُطبقها والخدمات والتقنيات التى بداخل النظام التى يتم استخدامها داخل المكتبة وكذلك إلقاء الضوء على سماته المُختلفة وإيجابياته وسلبياته وتقديم رؤية مقترحة للاستخدام الفعال لنظام Librarian A بداخل المكتبة محل الدراسة .
وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفى بأسلوب دراسة الحالة لوصف النظام وتحليله داخل مكتبة الجهاز المركزي للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء وتقييمه وفقا ً لمجموعة من المعايير الدولية التى أصدرتها المنظمات الدولية حيث اعتمدت الباحثة فى ذلك على (معايير اختيار النظم الآلية المتكاملة) التى أعدتها رندة إبراهيم بناء ً على المعايير الدولية التى أصدرتها المنظمات الدولية المعنية بتخصص المكتبات والمعلومات ، حيث ركزت الباحثة على المعايير العامة والخاصة التى تتضمن المواصفات و المعايير والبروتوكولات الدولية التى يجب أن توجد فى أى نظام آلى متكامل مُعرب .
أسفرت الدراسة على مجموعة من النتائج أهمها : أن نظام Librarian A ماهو إلا قاعدة بيانات لحفظ مقتنيات مكتبة الجهاز المركزي للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء فقط ولا يتم استخدامه والتعامل معه بطريقة مباشرة من جانب الباحثين والمستفيدين .
كل النظم الفرعية الخاصة بنظام Librarian A مُطبقة داخل المكتبة لكن لا يتم استخدام كل النظم داخل المكتبة نظرا ً لعدم احتياج المكتبة لبعضها ولبعض السلبيات من جانب مؤسسة الجهاز المركزي للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء وقد تم ذكرها داخل هذه الدراسة .
توصي الدراسة بالتعامل المباشر مع نظام Librarian A من قبل المستفيدين والباحثين لزيادة الوعي بأهمية النظم الإلكترونية داخل مؤسسات المكتبات والمعلومات والهدف منها وأهميتها وتفعيل خدمات المعلومات والفهرس على الخط المباشر، الاهتمام بتعيين مدير للمكتبة لديه مهارة وكفاءة فى كيفية التعامل مع النظم الإلكترونية وتعيين اختصاصيى مكتبات ومعلومات لديهم المهارة والكفاءة للتعامل مع نظام Librarian A .

The study aims to monitor the use of the international integrated electronic system Librarian A within the library of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics by identifying its sub-components, protocols, public and private standards that it applies, and the services and technologies within the system that are used within the library, as well as shedding light on its various features, pros and cons, and providing a vision A proposal for the effective use of the Librarian A system within the library under study.
The study relied on the descriptive approach using a case study method to describe and analyze the system within the library of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics and evaluate it according to a set of international standards issued by international organizations. International standards issued by international organizations concerned with the specialization of libraries and information, where the researcher focused on general and specific standards that include international specifications, standards and protocols that must be found in any Arabized integrated automated system.
The study resulted in a set of results, the most important of which are: The Librarian A system is nothing but a database for preserving the holdings of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics library only, and it is not used and dealt with directly by researchers and beneficiaries.
All the sub-systems of the Librarian A system are applied inside the library, but not all systems are used inside the library due to the library not needing some of them and some negatives on the part of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, which were mentioned in this study.
The study recommends dealing directly with the Librarian A system by the beneficiaries and researchers to increase awareness of the importance of electronic systems within libraries and information institutions, their purpose and importance, and activate information and index services on the line.
Interest in appointing a library manager who has the skill and competence in how to deal with electronic systems and the appointment of library and information specialists who have the skill and competence to deal with the Librarian A system.
