Sustainability is one of the vital issues in the coastal tourism industry to enhance the
quality of the overall experience with its different related fields as; environmental,
destination attractiveness, and tourists’ behaviors.
The main objective of this research is to determine an applicable monitoring model
that can be used as a framework for assessing the quality of coastal tourism
experiences and how sustainable it is. Moreover, the research studied different
determined relations scenarios between tourists as the main key of this experience and
the different related fields to determine the case of each indicator and the needed
actions based on the current status of these assumed relations.
The study conducted the Thematic Analysis Method with its six-step process to
design the comprehensive framework of the study using; selecting criteria, pilot
participants’ questionnaire, and Delphi experts' opinions to determine the relevant
indicators to the topic and objectives of this research.
The study introduced the quantitative and qualitative approaches with the different
assessment combination methods. The merging method “Swapping tools and
attitudes” has been chosen to apply its techniques in determining data collection
approaches in the fieldwork that has been conducted on different selected case
studies. The selected case studies are; - Jaz Little Venice - Al Ain Al Sokhna, Makadi
Aquaviva - Makadi Bay, and Steigenberger Coraya Beach, Marsa Alam. The
Formative Scenario Analysis method has been used in the study with its several steps
to be followed in the analytical part to describe the current status with the different
scenarios and relations of the expected impact between the different indicators of the
different fields.
New approaches to Integrating Information and Communication Technologies, the
web, The Internet of Things (IoT), and other ICT applications have been investigated
as methods to incorporate technological devices into the monitoring strategy and
involve users in decision-making and raising awareness. A smart monitoring model
has been proposed and tested in the Steigenberger Coraya Beach, Marsa Alam case
study as a smart application for integrating the research's suggested monitoring model
with the designed platform to keep track of monitoring sustainability with advanced
and smart opportunities.
Finally, the research has reached its main objectives and tested all its assumed
hypotheses, which has assisted in having a clear application for monitoring and
enhancing sustainable coastal tourism experiences in some of the Red Sea
destinations, that can be used as an initial prototype model for monitoring
sustainability in different Egyptian coastal destinations

تعتبر استدامة السياحة الساحلية هي إحدى القضايا الحيوية في مجال تطوير السياحة وتحسين نوعية وجودة التجربة الشاملة بمختلف مجالاتها ذات الصلة مثل: الجاتب البيئي، جاذبية الوجهه، وتجارب السياح.
الهدف الرئيسي من هذا البحث هو تحديد نموذج رصد قابل للتطبيق يمكن استخدامه كإطار لتقييم نوعية تجارب السياحة الساحلية المستدامة. و حيث انه تعتبر التنمية المستدامة مفهوما شاملا يحتوي علي العديد من التخصصات المختلفة وخاصة عندما يتعلق الأمر بالسياحة في المناطق الساحلية الحساسة، ولذلك من المهم تعريفها من خلال مختلف المؤشرات ذات الصلة وتقييمها بصورة مستقلة لوصف وفهم نوعية كل مجال من المجالات الثلاث الرئيسية للبحث وهي المجالات البيئية، جاذبية الوجهه، ونوعية السياح. وعلاوة على ذلك، يسعى البحث إلى دراسة سيناريوهات العلاقات بين السياح باعتبارها المفتاح الرئيسي لهذه التجربة ومختلف المجالات ذات الصلة لتحديد حالة كل مؤشر والإجراءات اللازمة استنادا إلى الحالة الراهنة لهذه العلاقات المفترضة.
وأجرت الدراسة أسلوب التحليل المواضيعThematic Analysis Method بخطواته الست لتكوين إطار العمل الشامل للدراسة من خلال؛ أسلوب اختيار المعايير، واستبيان المشاركين التجريبيين، وآراء خبراء دلفي لاختيار المؤشرات ذات الصلة بموضوع وأهداف هذا البحث.
قدمت الدراسة النهج الكمي والنوعي مع أساليب الجمع بين تنقيات التقييم المختلفة، وتم إختيار طريقة الدمج "أدوات ومواقف الموازنة" “Swapping tools and attitudes” لتطبيق تقنياتها في تحديد أساليب جمع البيانات في جزء العمل الميداني الذي تم اتباعه في دراسة الحالات الإفرادية ال مختلفة المختارة في هذه الدراسة. والدراسات الإفرادية المختارة هي: جاز ليتل فينيسيا - العين السخنة “Jaz Little Venice - Al Ain Al Sokhna”، أكوافيفا – مدينة ماكادي “Makadi Aquaviva - Makadi Bay”، وشتيجنبرجر كورايا بيتش، مرسي علم “Steigenberger Coraya Beach, Marsa Alam” . وقد استُخدمت طريقة التحليل السيناريو التكويني “Formative Scenario Analysis” من خلال إتباع خطواته المتتابعه في الجزء التحليلي لوصف مختلف السيناريوهات والعلاقات مع الأثر المتوقع بين مختلف المؤشرات في مختلف المجالات ذات الصله.
تم عرض النُهج الجديدة لإدماج تكنولوجيات المعلومات والاتصالات، وشبكة الإنترنت، وشبكة الإنترنت للأشياء، وغيرها من تطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات Information and Communication Technologies ICTs بوصفها أساليب لإدماج الأجهزة التكنولوجية في استراتيجية الرصد وإشراك المستعملين في صنع القرار وزيادة الوعي. وقد اقتُرح نموذج للرصد الذكي واختُبر في دراسة الحالة في منطقة شتيجنبرجر كورايا بيتش، مرسي علم “Steigenberger Coraya Beach, Marsa Alam” كتطبيق ذكي لإدماج نموذج الرصد المقترح للبحوث مع المنصة المصممة لمتابعة رصد الاستدامة مع إتاحة فرص متطورة وذكية.
وأخيرا، حقق البحث أهدافه الرئيسية واختبرت جميع فرضياته، مما ساعد في الحصول على تطبيق واضح لرصد وتعزيز تجارب السياحة الساحلية المستدامة في بعض وجهات البحر الأحمر، التي يمكن استخدامها كنموذج أولي لرصد الاستدامة في مختلف الوجهات الساحلية المصرية.
