Summary: This thesis seeks to assess the impact of different behavioral interventions on the prospects of formalizing the Egyptian informal sector. The thesis uses an experimental methodology to examine the impact of behavioral interventions on the formalization of the Egyptian informal sector. Specifically, it conducts a survey experiment on a total of 240 informal businesses, operating in the Egyptian informal sector from three different cities, namely Al-Obour, 6th of October and Al-Sherouk. The initial strategy was based on a snowball method and the sample was collected over a period of three months from June to August 2021. The primary data collected from the survey experiment is then analyzed using a binary logistic regression, to assess the impact of our behavioral primes on the probability of joining the formal market.Summary: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلي قياس أثر التنبيهات السلوكية علي تحفيز أصحاب الأعمال علي التحول إلي القطاع الرسمي. تقوم الدراسة باستخدام استبيان تجريبي علي ٢٤٠ شركة تعمل في القطاع غير الرسمي المصري. يتم استخدام الانحدار اللوجيستي الثنائي لتقييم تأثير التدخل السلوكي (Behavioral Primes) علي قرار التحول إلي القطاع الرسمي. النتائج – تشير النتائج إلي أن إيجاد مصدر رسمي للتمويل واختراق السوق يعد من أكبر التحديات التي تواجه الشركات في الاقتصاد المصري. إن تزويد أصحاب الأعمال بمعلومات عن فرص التمويل التي يقدمها جهاز تنمية المشروعات الصغيرة (MSME) أدي الي زيادة احتمالية الانضمام الي القطاع الرسمي. تعد هذه الدراسة الأولي من نوعها في تطبيق المنهج السلوكي في شكل تنبيهات سلوكية (nudges) علي الحالة المصرية لأصحاب الشركات في القطاع غير الرسمي حيث ركزت الأبحاث السابقة علي استخدام التنبيهات السلوكية في الاقتصادات الغربية.
