تأنى أهمية هذا البحث في تناوله التدخلات الإسرائيلية في دول حوض النيل وتأثرها على الأمن القومي المصري، ووضع استراتيجية محددة لمجابهة التوجهات الإسرائيلية في المنطقة في ظل المتغيرات الدولية والإقليمية تساهم في استعادة مكانة مصر التاريخية في المنطقة وتتماشى مع تحركات القيادة السياسية القوية والسريعة لحماية الأمن القومي المصري، حيث يتناول البحث التدخل الإسرائيلي في دول حوض النيل وتوجهات إسرائيل الخارجية تجاه القارة الأفريقية ومحددات سياستها الخارجية تجاه دول بصفة حوض النيل خاصة وانعكاسها على الأمن القومي المصري وتحديد أهمية القارة بالنسبة لإسرائيل وأهدافها بالتطبيق علي أثيوبيا كدراسة حالة من هنا تظهر الأهمية العلمية للبحث.

The importance of this research is that it deals with Israeli interventions in the Nile Basin countries and their impact on Egyptian national security, and developing a specific strategy to confront Israeli trends in the region in light of international and regional changes that contributes to restoring Egypt’s historical position in the region and is in line with the strong and rapid political leadership’s movements to protect Egyptian national security. The research deals with Israeli interference in the Nile Basin countries, Israel’s foreign orientations towards the African continent, the determinants of its foreign policy towards the Nile Basin countries in particular, its impact on Egyptian national security, and determining the importance of the continent to Israel and its goals by applying it to Ethiopia as a case study. From here, the scientific importance of the research appears.
