تدور الدراسة حول أثر أشكال الوعي الجنساني بالمرأة وجسدها على خبرة جسدها المعيشي، وما ينتج عنها من تمثيلات وعلاقات من القوة والمقاومة، في مختلف مستويات تفاعلاتها الحياتية. وهي دراسة بينية ارتبطت بالنظرية السياسية النسوية، والنظرية الموقفية، والبحث الفينومونولوجي من منظور سياسي، والأدب الروائي. واعتمدت منهاجيا على مدخل النقد النسوي، ومنظور الجسد المعيشي الذي طرحه الفيلسوف الفرنسي موريس ميرلوبونتي، بالإضافة إلى استخدام مزيج من أدوات تحليل الخطاب الإجرائية المناسبة لطبيعة الخطاب محل الدراسة حيث حللت بعض الروايات لثلاث كاتبات مصريات معاصرات من جيل أدب التسعينيات، هن (سحر الموجي وميرال الطحاوي، ونورا أمين). وتشير الدراسة في مجملها إلى اتساع دائرة علاقات القوة والمقاومة المرتبطة بالمرأة من مدخل أشكال الوعي بجسدها، بما يتجاوز علاقاتها المباشرة مع الرجل في المجال الخاص، حيث تضم علاقاتها معه في المجال العام، وعلاقاتها بالأخريات من النساء، وكذلك علاقتها مع ذاتها. كما تشير إلى أهمية البحث السياسي في تمثيلات المقاومة المتولدة لدى النساء لاستعادة السلطة الذاتية على أجسادهن، سواء بصورة واعية أو غير واعية، عبر خبراتهن المعيشة

The study explores society’s sexual forms of consciousness towards the female body, their impacts on women’s lived body experiences, and the related power/resistance representations that they produce across women wide different interactions. The study’s scientific importance is related to its interdisciplinarity and connection, not only to feminist political theory but also to standpoint theory and phenomenological analysis of the novel from a political perspective based on the lived body concept that was introduced by the philosopher “Maurice Merleau-Ponty”. It analyzes seven literary novels, written by three prominent women writers from the nineties writing generation in Egypt (Sahar El-Mougy, Miral El-Tahawi, & Norah Amin). Accordingly, it has methodologically used a feminist criticism approach, a lived body concept angel, and a combination of some discourse analysis tools. The Study indicates the width of the circle of power/resistance relations related to women’s bodies, as it doesn’t only include direct interactions with men in the private sphere but also the public sphere and interactions with other women and oneself. It also shows the importance of political research into women's resistance representations to regain their authority over their bodies, whether consciously or unconsciously, and even if they include forms of reproducing internal oppression
