Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc)-Cairo University, 2024. Summary: This thesis introduces a new extension of the Inverse Pareto distribution along with in the framework of Marshal-Olkin (1997) family of distributions. This model is capable of modeling various shapes of aging and failure criteria. The statistical properties of the new model are discussed. Several estimation methods have been used, including the maximum likelihood and maximum product spacing’s methods are used to estimate the parameters involved. Explicit expressions are derived for the moments and the order statistics are examined for the new proposed model. Finally, the usefulness of the new model for modeling reliability data is illustrated using two real data sets with simulation study.Summary: هذه الرسالة عنيت بإستحداث عائلة جديدة من التوزيعات المبنية على عائلة مارشال-أولكن وذلك بإستخدام توزيع باريتو المعكوس. اعقب ذلك ان اهتمت الرسالة بإشتقاق الخصائص الإحصائية للتوزيع المستحدث - فتم اشتقاق علاقات رياضية لحساب الوسط و المنوال و متوسط باقي العمر و متوسط التعطل. تلى ذلك تقدير معالم التوزيع بخمس من طرق التقدير المختلفة و تمت المقارنة بين ادائها علي اساس مجموعة من المقاييس الإحصائية شائعة الإستخدام في التحليل الإحصائي من خلال دراسة محاكاه بإشتقاق دوال للإحصائيات الترتيبية لعينات مسحوبة من التوزيع المستحدث. واختتمت الرسالة ببيان أهم ما توصلت اليه الباحثة في رسالتها مع ذكر عدد لابئس به من اتجاهات للأبحاث المستقبلية. وقد جائت كل هذه النتائج في ستة فصول و اشتملت الرسالة علي 42 مرجع اجنبيآ.
