Summary: تناولت الرسالة موضوع "الطوارق" ودورهم في مجتمع السودان الغربي (636 – 1000هـ/ 1238 – 1591م)، لتبرز دور الطوارق الحضاري في جميع النواحي في مجتمع السودان الغربي جنوب الصحراء، وقد قسمنا هذه الرسالة إلى تمهيد وأربعة فصول على النحو التالي: التمهيد: تناول "الطوارق ودورهم في عصر مملكة غانة"، موضحًا نسب الطوارق وأسباب ارتحالهم، ثم مواطن توزيعهم في بلاد السودان الغربي الفصل الأول: "الدور السياسي للطوارق في بلاد السودان الغربي"، مبينًا الوضع السياسي للطوارق، ونظم حكمهم، وعلاقتهم بالسلطة الحاكمة ثم الدور الحربي لهم في المجتمع الفصل الثاني: "الدور الاقتصادي للطوارق في عصر مملكتي مالي وصنغي"، ويعرض هذا الفصل العوامل المؤثرة في النشاط الاقتصادي مع أهم الأنشطة الحرفية، ووجود أهم المراكز التجارية ثم دورهم في التجارة عبر الصحراء الفصل الثالث: "الحياة الاجتماعية للطوارق في عصر مملكتي مالي وصنغي"، يوضح هذا الفصل الطوارق والعناصر الإثنية في مجتمع السودان الغربي، ومدي اندماجهم في المجتمع، مع أهم مظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية عندهم، ثم دور المرأة الطارقية في المجتمع، مع احتفالهم بالأعياد الدينية والمناسبات الاجتماعية. الفصل الرابع: "الدور الثقافي للطوارق في عصر مملكتي مالي وصنغي"، موضحًا عوامل ازدهار الحياة الثقافية للطوارق في مملكتي مالي وصنغي، والتأثير الثقافي الطارقي (لغة التيفيناغ)، ودورهم في بناء دور العلم والمؤسسات التعليمية في المجتمع، ثم نظام التعليم في المساجد والكتاتيب، والرحلة في طلب العلم، وأخيرًا يوضح دورهم في العلوم الدينية وأشهر علمائهم. Summary: The thesis dealt with the topic of “Tuaregs” and their role in Western Sudanese society (636 - 1000 AH / 1238 - 1591 AD), to highlight the cultural role of the Tuareg in all aspects of Western Sudanese society, south of the Sahara. We divided this thesis into an introduction and four chapters as follows: Introduction: Discussing “The Tuareg and their role in the era of the Kingdom of Ghana”, explaining the lineage of the Tuareg and the reasons for their migration, then the areas of their distribution in the countries of Western Sudan. Chapter One: “The political role of the Tuareg in Western Sudan,” showing the political situation of the Tuareg, their systems of rule, their relationship with the ruling authority, and then their military role in society. Chapter Two: “The economic role of the Tuareg in the era of the Mali and Songhai kingdoms.” This chapter presents the factors influencing economic activity with the most important craft activities, the presence of the most important commercial centers, and then their role in trans-Saharan trade. Chapter Three: “The social life of the Tuareg in the era of the Mali and Songhai kingdoms.” This chapter explains the Tuareg and ethnic elements in Western Sudanese society, the extent of their integration into society, with the most important aspects of their social life, then the role of Tuareg women in society, with their celebration of religious holidays and social events. . Chapter Four: “The cultural role of the Tuareg in the era of the Kingdoms of Mali and Songhai,” explaining the factors behind the prosperity of the cultural life of the Tuareg in the kingdoms of Mali and Songhai, the Tuareg cultural influence (the Tifinagh language), and their role in building the role of science and educational institutions in society, then the education system in mosques and katabs, The journey in seeking knowledge, and finally, it explains their role in religious sciences and their most famous scholars.
