One of the biggest issues facing the pharmaceutical sector today is counterfeit
medications. Health statistics from the World Health Organization indicate that between
10 and 30 percent of pharmaceuticals in developing nations are fake. Drug surveillance
and regulation, which both need to be addressed, as well as regions where drugs are in
great demand but typically remain out of reach for most people, are where this issue is
most common. When compared to conventional pharmaceuticals, those fake drugs can
have a variety of negative health effects on people. A developing nation like Egypt also
lacks the means to effectively detect and trace medicines or to combat this threat using
any other techniques that are now available. Because the drug supply chain might be
compromised anywhere, counterfeiters can inject their fake drugs there. Since there is a
pressing need for a solution to this issue, the author has decided to do research and create
a suitable system by addressing the shortcomings of current systems.
Although many blockchain solutions were provided in the last years that addressed this
problem and came up with great results, but after reviewing these solutions there is
always a window for injecting the supply-chain were found and to eliminate this window
I suggest integrating the previously introduced solutions with the electronic patient
record.

واحدة من أكبر القضايا التي تواجه قطاع المستحضرات الصيدلانية اليوم هي الأدوية المزيفة. وتشير الإحصاءات الصحية الصادرة عن منظمة الصحة العالمية إلى أن ما بين 10 و30 في المئة من المستحضرات الصيدلانية في البلدان النامية مزيفة. ان عملية مراقبة المخدرات وتنظيمها، تحتاج الى المزيد من المعالجة، عادة تكون هذه المشكلة أكثر شيوعًا في المناطق التي يكون فيها الطلب الكبير على الأدوية ولا يوجد ما يكفي هذا الطلب. عند مقارنة الأدوية المزيفة بالمستحضرات الصيدلانية التقليدية، يمكن أن يكون لهذه الأدوية المزيفة مجموعة متنوعة من الآثار الصحية السلبية على الناس. وتفتقر دولة نامية مثل مصر أيضًا إلى الوسائل اللازمة للكشف عن الأدوية وتتبعها بشكل فعال أو لمكافحة هذا التهديد باستخدام أي تقنيات أخرى متاحة الآن. ونظرًا لأن سلسلة توريد الأدوية قد تتعرض للخطر في أي مكان، فيمكن للمزورين حقن أدويتهم المزيفة هناك. وبما أن هناك حاجة ملحة لحل هذه المشكلة، فقد قررنا إجراء بحث وإنشاء نظام مناسب من خلال معالجة أوجه القصور في الأنظمة الحالية.
بالرغم من تقديم العديد من الحلول المبنية على سلاسل الكتل في الاعوام الماضية والتي عالجت هذه المشكلة وخرجت بنتائج رائعة، لكن بعد مراجعة هذه الحلول تم ايجاد نافذة لاختراق سلسلة التوريد ولغلق هذه النافذة أقترح دمج الحلول المطروحة سابقا مع سجل المريض الإلكتروني
