Kerarectasia is one of the most sever complications after refractive laser surgery usually penetrating keratoplasty is the treatment of choice to achieve an optical rehabilitation in such cases a new technique of collagen cross linking leads to stiffening of the anterior parts of the corneal stroma and increasing the biomechanical stability of the cornea
