Dissertation note: Thesis (PH.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Science - Department Of Mathematics Summary: Genetic programming (GP) addresses the challenge to get a computer do what is need to be done , without telling it how to do it GP provides a method for creating a working computer program automatically from a high - level problem statement of the problem All definitions of schema theory used to analyze and explain the GP , have not been fully exploited nor fully developed In addition to the weaknesses of today's crossover mechanisms , which have been failed to achieve the balance between the disruption and construction force of crossover ; This weaknesses lead to some complications in the computation of the schema - disruption probabilities necessary to formulate schema theorem for GP
