The aim of this study was to investigate the most comfortable knee joint angle having the least electromyography (EMG) activities and the least vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) magnitude during clutch operation when driving a vehicleThirty normal female volunteers participated in this studyTheir mean age was 194 (±27) years , mean height was 1596 (±44) cm and mean weight was 633 (±93) kgThree knee joint flexion angles were examined ; 50{u00B0} , 60{u00B0} and 70{u00B0}An ergonomically designed clutch pedal was used for experimental purposeThe pedal was placed on the force platformEach subject was instructed to sit on an experimentally adjustable chair facing
