PCL reconstruction has been advocated to restore knee kinematics to notmal which decreases the perceived risk of early degenerative joint disease. The structures within the posterolateral corner of the knee have recently been"re-discovered"providing a very important role in maintaning the stability of the knee for acute combined PCL and PLC
