In mango orchards, survey studies carried out in geographically different localities in Egypt in the old Delta and valley lands and new reclaimed lands concluded that the mango trees were severely attocked with 29 insect boring species blonging to 9 families and 2 orders were in mango orchards in Egypt. The dominant woodborers pests caused serious damage to the mango trees roots (Kalotermes flavicollis), the stems and branches
