For many years speech-language pathologists have used measurements of speech intelligibility as an index of oral communication effectiveness in speakers with dysarthria. The goal of the present research was to establish reliable and valisd procedure for perceptually and acoustically assessing the speech intelligibility of dysarthric speakers by combining the results of acoustic and perceptual analyses
