Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biophysics
Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) in nuclear medicine is considered one of the greatest tools that support the diagnostic power of this physiological and biochemical imaging modality . By using SPECT the orgsan of interest can be visualized in 3D mode . But this important tool is suffering from some image degrading factors distort the imaging quality and introduce undesired qualitative and quantitative accuracy
