Owing to the importance of the new emerging technology the so-called ultrasonic treatment in terms of efficiency cost effectiveness and enhancement of the mechanical properties it was necessary to deeply study its effect on the corrosion behavior . Therefore aluminum - silicon alloy A356 was chosen due to lack of sufficient information concerning its corrosion behavior after being treated by such technique
