Aim of the work : This study the role of VCAM -1 in the pathogenesis of psoriasis . Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease of unknown etiology which spontaneously subsides and flares . Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) are newly introduced molecules which are responsible for cell extracellular matrix adhesion . VCAM-1 (Vascular cell adhesion molecule-1) is a member of the immunoglobulin super- family of CAMs
