Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Operative Dentistry Summary: This study was carried out on fifty four human molars . Standardized class 1 cavities (4.5 mm width X 4.5 mm length) were prepared to a depth of 1.8 mm . Teeth were randomly assigned into six groups of nine teeth each according to the cavity configuration by applying nail polish isolate the walls unneeded for bonding .
