Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biophysics Summary: This study is performed aiming to verify the pencil beam convolution algorithm implemented on Eclipse treatment planning system (from Varian ) version 7.3 . Elekta precise linear accelerator producing two photon beams of 6 and 15 MV are used . All measured depth doses and does profiles are scanned using Weihofer WP 700 water phantom and two cylindrical water proof chambers each of sensitive volume 0.147 cm and wall thickness of 0.4 mm
