Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Zoology Summary: Natural infection with helminthes was studies in a population of the lesser Egyptian gerbil Gerbillus gerbillus collected from El-fayoum governorate . Three adult helminth species were recovered from the small intestines of 25 out of 52 G. gerbillus and were identified as : Raillietina celebensis, Streptopharagus numidicus and Catenotaenia aegyptica . The thymus lung liver kidney and spleen were removed for histopathological examination
