Various quinazoline possess, among other biological activities, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Accordingly, the present investigation is concerned with the synthesis of novel series of 3-(4-substituted phenyl_-spiro[(2H,3H)-quinazoline-2,1'-cyclohexan]-4)1H)-ones with the objective of discovering novel and potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents, that might be devoid of the gastrointestinal side effects
