Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Analytical Chemistry Summary: The aim of the present thesis is to find a non time consuming cheap and reliable spectrophotometric procedures using commercially available and cheap spectrophotometric reagents for the determination of Cr (III) Fe (III) Cu (II) and Pb(II) . The methods are based on the formation of coloured ternary complexes and improved using a cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB)
