Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Andrology and S.T.Ds Summary: Hormonal profile did not differ significantly between patients suffering from metabolic syndrome with ED and patients suffering from metabolic syndrome without ED . There was definite deterioration of endothelial function in metabolic syndrome patients with ED than patients with metabolic syndrome alone suggesting ED as a strong predictor for endothelial dysfunction independent of hormonal changes
