Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Basic Science Summary: Mechanical low back pain is a serious health problem worldwide which certainly can limit or impair function and capacity in both work and personal life . This study investigates and compares the efficacy of PEMF and microcurrent in treatment of MLBP. Thirty patients from both sexes (12 males and 18 females ) with MLBP were involved aged between 20 - 40 years old (mean = 32.6) divided into two equal groups fifteen patients each (6 males and 9 females)
