Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D .) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Electronics and Communication Summary: Three efficient techniques have been joined together in this thesis in order to mitigate distortion resulting from propagating through multipath fading channels . These techniques are orthogonal frequency division multipexing (OFDM ) code division multipe access (CDMA ) and space tim- block coding (STBC ) . The proposed STBC OFDM - CDMA system can mitigate performance degradation caused by multipath fading channels in its worst form which is the frequency selective fast fading
