Several studies have demonstrated that renin - angiotensin receptor blockers or silymarin could reduce experimental liver fibrosis . The present study was designed to investigate the potential antifbrotic effects of losartan or silymarin in combination with PZQ in an experimental model of liver fibrosis induced by S. mansoni infection
