40 - kDa protein was purified from concentrated culture supernatant of Cpseudotuberculosis using hydrophobic interaction chromatographyFour different vaccines were investigated for their efficiency in protecting sheep against CpseudotuberculosisVaccine composed of purified 40 - kDa protein , Vaccine composed of recombinant mutant phospholipase - D (PLD) , Vaccine composed of purified 40 - kDa protein plus recombinant mutant PLD , and Vaccine composed of formalin - killed Cpseudotuberculosis plus recombinant mutant PLDThe present study concluded that the combined vaccine composed of 40 - kDa protein plus recombinant mutant PLD succeeded in stimulating both humoral and cell mediated immune response and provided a high level of protection against CLA in sheep
