Adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL ) represents a biologically and clinically heterogeneous group of diseases . Aberrant DNA methylation is frequently observed in ALL and results in the functional inactivation of its associated genes . In this thesis we study the prognostic significance of methylated p15 and p73 genes in adult patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia
