From the analysis of the essential oil of the young stems and leaves, 35 components were identified, while 39 components were identified in the essential oil of the flowers. From the n-hexane extract of the young stems and leaves, four compounds were isolated and identified as n-nonacosane, n-hentriacontane, Ý-sitosterol and Ý-amyrin
