This thesis is concerned with the development of a methodology for prediction of synthesis conditions of zeolite A and X of specific characteristics and high chromium adsorption capacity which was selected as a model for heavy metals. Experimental verification was undertaken using hydrothermal and microwave techniques on lab and pilot scales
