Grains of two durum wheat cultivars Sohag and Beni Suef 3 were irradiated with different doses of gamma ray 0, 150 , 250 and 350 Gy to obtain new durum wheat lines characterized by high yielding and drought tolerance . Irradiated grains were cultivated in the field under normal and drought conditions during 2005-2009
