Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry of Nutrition
The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of low and high doses of both boron and silicon on biochemical changes in serum of rats . For this purpose 100 albino rats were categorized into 5 equal groups as follows (G1) unsupplemented group (G2) low boron diet group (G2) high boron diet group (G3) high boron diet group (G4) low silicon diet group (G5) high silicon diet group at the end of 6 weeks serum samples were collected and analyzed for determination of total protein albumin , globulin , total bilirubin AST , ALT , total cholesterol triacylglycerol calcium phosphorus malondialdehyde (MDA) and total antioxidant capacity (TAC) liver samples were exposed to histopathological examination
