Hysterectomy is the 2 {u0369} most commonly performed surgical procedure in the united state after cesarean delivery with approximately 600,000 per year¹ in spite of a large number of alternatives for the management of benign diseases hysterectomy rates had remained stable. This a retrospective study, which included all women who underwent hysterectomy for non urgent gynecological causes in Kasr Alaini in the gynecology department
