Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Summary: The present study investigated the possible protective effects of three natural products namely vinpocetine, marjoram oil and parsley oil in addition to pantoprazole, a reference standard antiulcerogenic agent, against experimentally-induced gastric ulcer by either pyloric ligation/indomethacin or ethanol. The study revealed that the test drugs have protective effects against pyloric ligation/indomethacin-induced gastric ulcer after acute and 7 days treatment
