Experimental results proved that root rot disease of cucumber is caused by Thielaviopsis basicola which was the main dominant fungal isolates of diseased rootsFusarium moniliforme and Pythium aphanidermatum were also isolated once or twice from diseased roots of cucumber plantsSoil microorganisms isolated from rhizosphere of healthy cucumber plants were identified as Trichoderma harzianum , Thamatum and Bacillus subtilis (B1 , B2 , BR , and BF) Antagonistic studies proved that Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus subtilis (B1 , B F) were effective against the causal organismsOnion and purging cassia extracts were the most inhibitors on radial growth reductionVitavax - Thiram was the most effective fungicide caused reduces the radial growthUnder greenhouse conditions Tharzianum application as granules was the most effectiveOnion and purging cassia plant extracts were able to cause high reduction of cucumber root rotCucumber varieties , ieHybrid (9) and Brense shown tolerance to cucumber root rot diseaseUnder field conditionsTrichoderma harzianum as granules formula (biocontrol) ; Purging cassia (plant extract) , Harpin protein (resistance inducer) ; and the fungicide Vitavax - Thiram as soil drench (Chemical control) in addition to using Brense cv (Cucumber varity) proved themselves as the most effective treatments for reducing cucumber root rot disease incidenceThe integrated disease management of cucumber root rot disease under field conditions at Fayoum Governorate planned in two major experiments using the previous treatments individually or in integrationIt could be suggested that the IDM treatments significantly reduced the root rot disease incidence compared with the application of each concept alone
