Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics Summary: The current study was done on patients wearing complete dentures to evaluate the effectiveness three different disinfectant solutions on the Candida albicans adhering to their dentures . The study cincluded that the three disinfectant solutions where effective in decreasing the number of candida albicans in both mucosal and denture swabs the sodium hyopchlorite was superior as a disinfectant when compared to the other two disinfectants
