A recent study demonstrated that a diet with thermally oxidized sunflower seed oil ( OFO ) resulting in observed changes in lipid profiles in plasma and significant increase in the oxidative damage of liver tissue .54 male albino rats were fed diets containing either high ( 10 g/100g ) or low ( 5 g/100g ) levels of oxidized frying or fresh sunflower seed oil for 8wks
