Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Pharmacy - Department Of Pharmacology and Toxicology Summary: The present study investigated the effects of single and repeated administration of therapeutic and large doses of codeine dextromethorphan and noscapine on motor activity and motor activity and motor coordination in rats.It has been found that single administration of codeine (16 and 80 mg\\kg i.p.) and dextromethorphan (60 mg\\kg i.p.) produced deleterious effects on motor activity and\\or motor coordination while repeated administration of all drugs at tests doses had slight or no effect
