Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Agricultural Biochemistry
Multi-tools were applied in this study to induce the human proinsulin gene expression and maximization the production of insulin from yeast. These tools involved using glucose and tryptophan as molecular inducers, yeast expressed medium and camel milk medium as inducible media. Glucose and tryptophan induced the human proinsulin gene through effect on the transcription and translational factors while the yeast expressed medium and camel milk medium induced through generation inducible signals beside their effects on the transcription and translation factors
