Channel assignment techniques are of great importance for the cellular systems design with the increasing demand and limited frequency spectrum . Optimum channel assignment is required for efficiently assigning a number of required channels to each cell in the cellular system . Several assignment techniques are introduced one of themm is the genetic algorithm technique which try with a specific number of generations to find an optimum channel assignment with minimum blocking probability
