Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Veterinary Pharmacology Summary: The results showed that after oral administration of enrofloxacin in normal healthy rabbits , its pharmacokinetic profile characterized by rapid oral absorption , large volume of distribution , prolonged elimination half live and low tissue residues . The results also revealed that the experimental infection of rabbits by Pasteurella multocida microorganisms induced positive changes in the pharmacokinetic properties of enrofloxacin
