Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Zoology Summary: In the present study the larval stages of the Egyptian toad bufo regularis (Bufonidae) were used . Three group of newly fertilized eggs were analyzed . One group was irradiated with ultraviolet for the production of haploid individuals the second group was heat shocked for the production of triploid individuals while the third one remained intact as normal diploid individuals
