The ovary of Tilapia niloticus appeared as aggregation of different stages of ovarian follicles embedded in an ovarian interstitial tissue . The oocyte developmental stages in Tiapia niloticus were classified into : Oogonia chromatine nucleolar stage perincleolar stage cortical alveoli formation stage vitellogenic (yolk) stage and the maturation (ripe) stage
