Fascioliasis is a zoonotic disease caused by fasciola hepatica and F. gigantica . In Egypt the snail lymnaea natalensis is the intermediate host of fasciola gigantica the etiological agent of fascioliasis . In the present study exposure of lymnaea natalensis snails to fasciola gigantica miracidia resulted typically in three susceptibility patterns : A) non - infected snails , b ) normal infections
