Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - National Cancer Institute - Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Relif Summary: Forty patients underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty ( PVP ) for lumbar or thoracic vertebral pain due to vertebral malignant lesions . The patients were followed up for 12 weeks after PVP . Pain intensity , the presence or absence of recurrce of pain , changes in dosage of analgesics given before and after PVP, improving of disability and complications associated with PVP were evaluated
